He was born on January 9th 1960, to Eileen Prince, and Tobias Snape a Muggle. His father was ofter mean to him, and was used to argue with Eileen, the air at home was often unbreathable and Severus couldn’t wait the end of summer to go back at Hogwarts. He grew up in Spinner’s End a shabby suburb of Cokeworth, this area of town was near a dirty river and full of dilapidated houses, disused factories and broken down street lamps. Through the rest of his life, Severus continued to return there when he was not at school. Here is where he met Lily Evans, after watching her for some time, Severus noticed her evident magical abilities and began making friendly overtures.

He attented Hogwarts in 1971 and was sorted in Slytherin, on the way to Hogwarts for his first year, Severus sat with Lily Evans on the train. While on the train they met James Potter and Sirius Black. This encounter between the three of them revolved around a disagreement regarding what Hogwarts house was the best. This hostile first encounter would set the tone for the antagonism between the three of them for the rest of his life. His showed an attitude for the Dark Arts from the beginning, at the age of eleven he knew more Curses and Hexes than most of the seventh year students, he was also used to get along with a bunch of guys who lately became Death Eaters, including Avery and Mulciber. James and his group of friends were constantly at war with Severus throughout their school years, one recorded memory in the Pensieve bears witness to James bullying him, turning him upside-down to reveal his underwear in front of many students, including Lily. Lily came to Severus’s defence, but this only made things worse: in a subsequent lashing out at James in an attempt to recover his lost dignity, Severus inadvertently called Lily a Mudblood. Lily refused to forgive him for it, even after his repeated apologies. This would forever be Severus’s worst memory. It was seen by Harry in the Pensieve.

Severus noticed that Remus kept disappearing during the full moon and once followed him past the Whomping Willow (after being tipped off on how to do so by Sirius Black) to confirm his suspicions. This act could have cost Severus his life or his humanity (he could have been turned into a werewolf by Remus’s bite) if it had not been for James. When James found out what had happened, he went after Severus and managed to save him just before he got to the Shrieking Shack while Remus was in his wolf-form.

Later on his trust fall on Lord Voldemort, and was on his side that Snape face the first Hogwarts battle. He was the one who overheard Sybilla Trelawney’s prophecy, and went strictly to tell it to the Dark Lord, only that he didn’t manage to heard it all, this made the Dark Lord made his principal mistake, consider Harry as his equal, and hunted him down. After learning that the boy who Lord Voldemort believed the prophecy was referring to, he started freaking out at the idea he could hurt Lily, this made him change side, and went to Dumbledore to beg him to keep her safe, unfortunately the Fidelius Charm which Dumbledore advised the Potter to use, was cast upon the wrong person, and Severus found his beloved Lily stone dead on the floor.

After Voldemort’s fall when the trials for the Death Eaters began, Snape was protected by the wing of Albus Dumbledore who guaranteed for him during the years, and told everyone that Severus had changed his side long ago, becoming a spy at his own danger.

When Harry Potter arrived at school Severus couldn’t notice from the first moment his resemblance with Lily, but also with James. This will start a love/hate in Severus towards the boy. Since the first lessons he aimed Harry to take his own revenge on James, embarrassing him in front of the whole class, asking him questions on his first day, knowing too well he couldn’t have known them:

“Potter! What would I get if I added powdered root of Asphodel to an infusion of Wormwood?

“Where would you look if I asked you to find me a Bezoar?”

“Which is the difference between Monkshood and Wolfsbane?

Actually it will melt your heart knowing that according to Victorian flower language, asphodel is a type of lily meaning ‘my regrets follow you to the grave’ and wormwood means ‘absence’ and also typically symbolizes bitter sorrow.” If you combined that, Snape’s words mean “I bitterly regret Lily’s death.”

He was a very severe teacher, in fact he didn’t accept students at his N.E.W.T.s unless they took an (O) (outstanding) in their O.W.L.s. As a very skilled wizard he was one of the first to recognise that something was wrong with Professor Quirrell, and one night Harry sneaking out of the dormitory assisted at a fight of the two. More during a Quidditch game he saw that someone was trying to kill Harry by make him fall from his broom, and he was trying without blinking his eyes, to counter-curse and keep Harry alive. He was also one of the teacher who put a defensive task on the way to the Philosopher Stone, Snape’s task consisted in a table full of Potions in a room, where as soon as you got in you remained trapped in Dark Fire. Only one potions would have make you through it, the others where or deadly or just water. During Harry’s second year at Hogwarts he joined the Professor’s Lockheart duelling club, demonstrating once again his skills as a Wizard, first disarming the Defence Against The Dark Arts Teacher, secondly evanescing the snake which was confronting Harry.

During Harry third-year, Sirius Black at first believed a heart-less murderer, escaped from Azkaban, remembering the old days Severus will be the first to understand that Remus Lupin, that year Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher was helping him inside the castle. He also realised how Harry managed to leave the school even if he didn’t have the permission to leave the castle to visit Hogsmeade, for this reason Harry couldn’t take back his Invisibility Cloak which he had left in a secret passageway, and that was used by Piton the night he reached the Shrieking Shack. Got there he tied up Lupin, and started a vociferous fight with Harry, Ron, and Hermione about sending Black to Azkaban, he also treated them with suspension since they were out of bounds. He was the one on the last day of school who revealed to everyone that Lupin was a werewolf and was forced to resign.

In the fourth year of Harry at Howgarts he will be chose as a Triwizard-Champion without putting his name in the Goblet of Fire, this and the Dark Mark burning will be for Severus and Igor Karkaroff, another repented Death Eater, the first sign of Voldemort returning.

After the Dark Lord return, Snape started to teach Occlumency to Harry, since it was clear that existed a very strong connection between the two minds. He also joined firms the Order of Phoenix at 12th Grimmuld Place, where he often enjoyed to taunt Sirius in not being able to take a side in the battle. One night during a lesson with Harry, after Snape as always had threw his thoughts in the Pensieve, left the office for a while, Harry take a look in the Pensieve at Snape’s memories, witnessing a very private one, Snape returning, grabbed him by the arm and stopped to teach him Occlumency. Durning the year professor Umbridge, charged by the Ministry, tapped into Snape’s private stocks for Veritaserum to interrogate Harry and the Dumbledore’s Army, it was only later on that Snape revealed that on her first attempt to use Veritaserum on Harry, he had given her a false potion, and on her second he faked the Veritaserum end of stock. More over he passed the code-message given him from Harry to the Order’s members, who were able to join the Ministry battle and help Harry defeat the Death Eaters.

During the sixth year Snape finally achieved his goal in life, teaching Defence Against the Dark Arts at Hogwarts, position that he has been denied until them because Dumbledore feared he could meet once again the pleasure of the Dark Arts. That year his position as Potion Teacher was taken by Horace Slughorn, who accepted to come back at Hogwarts. In this same year Draco Malfoy was charged by Voldemort himself to kill Dumbledore, maybe a task to overcome as revenge on his father who was caught at the ministry and sent to Azkaban; His mother, Narcissa, nor-less Bellatrix’s Sister, the most loyal of the Voldemort’s servants, understood at once that Draco was never going to achieve the goal, and fearing for her son’s life she went to search for help in Severus, with who she stipulate an Unbreakable Vow. There he swore he would have protected Draco, and helped him to reach his target.

Dumbledore who never stopped trying to save Draco from his destiny, has been bitten by a severe curse at his hand during his attempt to destroy the Gaunt’s Ring. This curse would have killed him in the end, and well-aware of Draco’s job, charged Severus to do himself the Killing Curse on him, to protect his role and keep playing his part, and to save Draco’s soul. it was in fact Severus the night of the 30th June 1997 on the Astronomy Tower that killed Dumbledore. During all the year however, Draco tried in various way to kill Dumbledore, first with a cursed necklace bought at Borgin’s and Burkies, and then with a bottle of mead poisoned. Harry who understood, or better suspected, that behind all of this there was Malfoy, cornered him in a bathroom seeing him cry, the two started to fight, and Harry decided that that was the right moment to try “Sectumsempra” the spell he read about in the Half-Blood Prince textbook.

After Snape run to Draco’s rescue, he recognised at once his own enchament and asked Harry to go and grab his own textbooks, and examined them, even if he suspected that Harry had his textbook, he couldn’t confirm his hypothesis since Harry had concealed it the the room of requirement. After the Dumbledore’s murder, he ran away with the Death Eaters, and on his attempt to reach Hogwarts out-of-bounds, he was attacked from Harry, who was furious about Dumbledore’s death, in that moment Harry discovered that Snape was the Half-Blood Prince.

After the Headmaster’s Death, Severus became Hogwarts Headmaster, joined by his fellow Death Eaters, the Carrows were at the head of the discipline, when Harry managed to elude his defences and get into Hogwarts he exploded in a fight with Minerva Mc Gonagall, who was trying to protect Harry. During the fight, Snape cleverly used a shield-charm to knock-out the Carrows, and then fleed from the window. He rejoined Lord Voldemort at the Malfoy’s Manor and passed him the informations regarding Harry’s transport.

The Dark Lord never suspected that Snape was secretly still fighting for the Order, and always trusted him, and considered him one of his most loyal servants. One night, however, the Dark Lord was convinced that he was managing to kill Harry, because the Elder Wand didn’t belong to him, in fact he believed its loyalty was in Snape since he was the one who killed Dumbledore, unfortunately he didn’t considerer that it was Draco who had disarmed Dumbledore in the Astronomy Tower. For this reason mercilessly as always, Voldemort ordered Nagini to kill Snape, to fully possess the wand, and the most eerie thing is that he stayed watching while he was being bitten to death. After the Dark Lord leaved, Harry approached Snape and collected his tears, who he brought to the Pensieve where he discovered all the truth, the man he had so hatred during the years, was one of the reason he was still alive, he discovered Snape’s endless love for his mother, and that they had the same Patronus: a Doe. In that moment he connected that the Doe he had seen on the iced-lake in the forest, was Piton’s trying to guide him to the Gryffindor’s Sword.

Born on February 13th 1981, when she was nine she assisted the death of her mother, Pandora Lovegood, for this reason she was able to see Thestrals and she was after raised by her father Xenophillius Lovegood, also known for his journal the Quibbler.

Luna is a singular person, who was ofter target by her schoolmates for her individuality, in fact they surnamed her “Loony” for “lunatic/strange” but her gentle spirit never let her down, and never let her take that personal.

She was sorted in Ravenclaw, when she joined the school in 1992, same age of Ginny Weasley the two became immediately friends. She joined Dumbledore’s Army and showed the Patronus of a Hare.

She joined the group of Harry during her fifth year, when the met her on the Hogwarts Express reading the Quibbler upside down, and was the one who introduced Harry to Thestrals; During her sixth year she saved Harry from coming back to London since he had been petrified by Malfoy and covered with his Invisibility Cloak but she was able to find him thanks to her spetracles which made her see Nargles. She even was the first who could make Harry speak about Sirius’s death, and she even accompanied him at Slughorn’s party.

Even if Ravenclaw she was a very supportive friend of theirs, during the Gryffindor’s quidditch match she was used to wear a lion-like wig which used to roar; Speaking about Quidditch she was once at the commentary and Ron will define that “the most brilliant commentary ever”.

During her seventh year, she founded again at school Dumbledore’s Army, and with them she tried to steal the Gryffindor Sword from Snape’s office, her and her father went to Bill and Fleur’s wedding during Christmas holiday, but while she were coming home she was captured by the Death Eaters and kept prisoner at villa Malfoy. She was then rescued by Harry, Ron and Dobby.

She was particularly active in the Hogwarts Battle, she joined the fight in the Astronomy tower after she, Ginny, Ron and Hermione drank the Good-Luck Potion left them by Harry. She also was the one who understood and indicated Harry towards the lost Diadem of Rowena Rawenclaw.

After the battle she became a magi zoologist, and married the nephew of Newt Scamander: Rolf Scamander. She was know for have found many new magical species, she even had two twins Lorcan and Lysander.

The Dursley’s family is a Muggle Family who lived in Privet Drive 4th, Little Wingey, Surrey. Nothing less than the family who took care of Harry since he was just a child, when his parents died in a dreadful way, by the hand of Lord Voldemort.

Petunia Evans was the older sister of Lily Evans, she never stand the way her parents seemed to value her sister more than her, only because she was a witch. She drop which made her vase collapse was the letter from Hogwarts to Lily, “A witch in the family isn’t it wonderful?”.

They grew up in Cokeworth, which she left early eager to get away from her family, she will pursue a typing course in London, which will bring her to work for an office where she’ll meet the super anti-wizard Muggle Vernon Dursley. He had a perfectly correct car, and wanted to do completely ordinary things, and by the time he had taken her on a series of dull dates, during which he talked mainly about himself and his predictable ideas on the world. During one particular date when they were sitting in his car in front of a chip shop she tearfully confessed about her strange sister. As she had expected, Vernon was quite shocked, though he comforted her and told her it was not her fault for having a “freak” for a sister and that he would not hold it against her. He finally proposed to her in his mother’s (very ordinary) living room, it was all very emotional.

And Finally after the wedding they had s child, Dudley. Everything seemed perfectly normal, till one day Petunia, now Petunia Dursley, catching outside the milk bottles, found wrapped tight in blanket, her nephew: Harry. With the boy there was a letter of Albus Dumbledore, where he explained everything that happened to the boy, and why he had to stay with her. They decided even if reluctantly to keep him, and treated him as a servant more than a nephew, or less like a son. Even if the treats of the magic world in the following year will bring them to treat him a little better, as conceding him the second room of Dudley.

They never miss an occasion to make feel Harry uncomfortable, out of place, and never enough for them, they never spent a good word on his parents, nor his Aunt despite she was her sister, until they had to spare. On the day which Harry told them that the spell that was keeping him safe was soon vanish, something unusual happened:

Dudley before leaving kept asking why they have to spare from Harry, and not only he thanked him to have saved his life the summer they got attacked by the dementors, but after his father had define Harry “a waste of space” he went to him, stretched out his hand, and shaking Harry’s he said “I don’t think you’re a waste of space.”.

What happened between him and his Aunt Petunia wasn’t less touching, she was the last one leaving the house, Harry found her looking at the empty walls and furniture-less living room.

“I have lived in this house for twenty years, and now in a single night I’m expected to leave.”

She said not even looking at him.

“If they think for a moment you know where I’m going they’ll stop at nothing.”

Replied Harry, trying to make her understand that he was asking them to leave just to protect her.

“Don’t you think I know what they are capable of?”

“I don’t think you lost a mother that night a Godric’s Hollow”

Replied Harry sharply, as almost to start their last war.

“No I’ve lost a sister.”

The Dursley represent maybe one of my personal favourite theories, they’ve always been quite difficult to deal with, and for sure they have hated Harry at first glimpse they had on him, just for what he was. But what if they had become so mean with him just because they lived all those years with an Horcrux, and in the end managed to become more friendly with him because more and more Horcrux were being destroyed, and Voldemort’s soul was becoming weaker?

The boy who had no choice?

He was born on June 5th 1980, from Lucios and Narcissa Malfoy, he was only child and being son of a Death Eater he was pretty soon pushed towards the Dark Side, and was used to thinking that half-blood and muggle borns were garbage.

When he’ll attend Hogwarts in 1991, he’ll search the friendship of Harry Potter after knowing him in the shop of Madame Malkin, but Harry will never want to shake his hand, this will lead the two of an endless rivality through the years at Hogwarts.

Draco Malfoy will be sorted into Slytherin, and will become friends of Gregory Goyle, another son of Death Eater, Vincent Crabbe, same as Goyle, and Pansy Parkison. Thus, his company wasn’t very pleasant, he was inserted in an ambiance from the start in which all that matter was that the magical-know, was trasmitted from wizard to wizard.

He will be soon took under his wing by Professor Snape, who will reveal himself on the same side as Draco’s against Potter, but will pop out that he was only trying to protect Harry, and keeping an eye on Draco.

Everything at Hogwarts became matter of challenge with Harry Potter, the duellants club in his second year, Quidditch where he’ll be chosen as Seeker same position of Harry, in the third year he’ll sustain a campaign in favour of Cedric Diggory, partecipant of the Triwizard Tournament, handing out magic pins which magically changed their appereance, once saying “Support Cedric Diggory – The REAL Hogwarts Champion”, and once saying “Potter Stinks”.

In his fifth year he’l become a Prefect, and a member of the Inquisitorial Squad made up by Dolores Umbridge, again another chance of imposing himself, and his autority upon Harry. When at the end of the year, Harry and his friends after the dreadful clash at the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry, with the Death Eater, and Lucios Malfoy ended up in Azkaban, will be the last straw for Draco.

On his sixth year he’ll activly take part in Lord Voldemort’s army, becoming a Death Eater. He will be asked from Lord Voldemort to kill Dumbledore, and he will become very stressed about this thing, since he couldn’t really do it, his mother to protect him will stipulate an Unbreakable Vow with Severus Snape, who swore to protect Draco and to attend his aim in case he couldn’t reach it. In the tower when Draco finally Dumbledore, come to face his destiny, but Snape will fullfil the duty Draco couldn’t carry out.

In the Hogwarts Battle we start to see a little changment in Draco’s direction, since Dumbledore death he seems to fully aknowlege the darkness and the dangerousness of his attempts, and starts to help the Order of Phoenix even if in a veiled way.

Like not selling Harry to Lord Voldemort at Malfoy Manor… did he recognize him and didn’t want to give him in, or was Harry just camouflaged too well?

Or leaving the Hogwarts battle withouth join the fight, with his parents.

The way he has been raised and the people who had surrounded him for his whole life, didn’t help Draco to have a clear view of what was really happening, he was forced to take a side when he was only a child, properly instructed to understand which WAS TO BE his side, but never asked where he did want to be.

Does he really had no choice from the beginning or was he just convinced and then picked up another fight?

Like Narcissa and Lucios Malfoy, it’s given to know that Narcissa Malfoy changed her side only when she recognized the danger her family was in, especially her son. And Lucios changed side for fear, he knew Lord Voldemort’s army wouldn’t have won, so he put himself in expect. Maybe dreading the return to Azkaban, or worse.

But what about Draco was he really charmed from the Dark Arts, or was just confused as every little child, and as soon as he was old enough he started to think with his own mind? Let’s not forget that when the Battle of Hogwarts occured he was only 18. Did he really had no choice, couldn’t he really go against his family? One thing for sure, in both cases this explain once more the difference between two of the most discussed Hogwarts houses, if he was standing for his family for fear, or because he was convinced and then chose another side, he was choosing the cheaper choice, like a true Slytherin, facing and going against his family would have need a great source of courage, but he was no Gryffindor.

After the battle, he’ll marry Astoria Greengrass, younger sister of his Schoolmate Daphne Greengrass, and have a son Scorpius.

Harry once everything will have calmed down, will propose to Draco to shake his hands in sign of friendship, but he will refuesd since Harry first didn’t want to shake it on their first day to Hogwarts.

Albus Percival Wulfrick Brian Dumbledore was born in the summer of 1881 to Kendra and Percival Dumbledore in the village of Mould-on-the-Wold. He has two younger sibilings, Aberforth and Ariana. His life was never easy, when he was young he lives the tragedy of her sister Ariana, attacked by three muggles, who seeing her pratcising magic and not understanding, got scared. This destroied Ariana, leaving her deeply signed, this will bring her to suppress her powers, and exploding in random events, mostly brutals. 

Percival was led to madness by this, in fact he attacked the three muggles, and was after brought to Azkaban prison, where’ll die years later. Kendra and the three children, were forced to leave the village to escape the accusing eyes of the magical community, they’ll end up in Godric’s Hollow where’ll now Bathilda Bagshot. Albus from now on will become a very reserved person, not only for his father story, but also for the pitful conditions of Ariana. 

He’ll attend Hogwarts in the autumn of 1892, and he’ll be sorted in Gryffindor, and he’ll develop the patronus of a phoenix. He’ll at first be target of some prejudices for what his father have done, in fact many fellows classmates will believe that Dumbledore hated muggles just like his father. Instead he’ll from the first moment demonstrate his unsual kindness, getting closer to a young Elphias Doge, who was at the time bearing the aftermaths of Greenish skin and Pockmarks, for this reason no one would want to get close to him. But Dumbledore seemed to see like always, the good in people beyond their past or appereance. 

He’ll have a normal school decourse, nor exceptional in fact on his fourth year he’ll accidentally set his four-poster bed on fire, even if his magical skills were clear from the beginning, at some point a professor will declare that

“By the end of his first year, he would never again be known as the son of a Muggle-hater, but as nothing more or less than the most brilliant student ever seen at the school.” 

He’ll make such noble friends like: Nicholas Flamel, Bathilda Bagshot, Griselda Marchbanks. He’ll achieve Barnabus Finkley Price for Exceptional Spell-Casting, became the British Youth Representative to the Wizengamot and recieve the Gold Medal for Ground-Breaking Contribution to the international Alchemical Conference. He was even made Prefect, and subsequently Head Boy. 

Graduated at Hogwarts, he and Doge will plan a world tour, which will go to dust, because the day before leaving Kendra will be killed by Ariana who had one of her magical outburst accidents. Dumbledore full of bitterness and sadness, left with two brother to raise came back in Godric’s Hollow, where he’ll finally face a bit of luck in Gellert Grindelwald. Just as talented as Dumbledore, he was there looking for the Deathly Hallows; Dumbledore becomes immediately affascinated with the idea of “wizarding domination”, and becomes obsessed with the Deathly Hallows himself. Their relationship grewfaster and they soon became unseparable, Dumbledore started to have feeling for him, they even stipulated a blood path where they swore not to fight each other, never.

But the true nature of Grindelwald fastly come to light, one day Dumbledore was having a go on his younger brother Aberforth, because he was telling him that he shouldn’t spent so much time with Grindelwald, he was negletting Ariana, and she needed him. Even if Dumbledore doesn’t want to hear the truth a part of him knows he’s right, so they start arguing, Grindelwald cast the Cruciatus curse on Aberforth, Ariana will try to stop them, causing a dreadful event: her dead. Strucked by one of the casting spells. 

Dumbledore will died in pain and regret, but Aberforth will never know how much he was suffering, and he’ll continue to blame him for her death for years, he’ll even punch Dumbledore breaking his nose, at Ariana’s funeral. After this dreadful ending, Dumbledore will come back to Hogwarts to teach Defense Against The Dark Arts, under the presidency of Phineas Nigellus Black, in the 1910’s he will teach Newt Scamander and Leta Lestrange’s classrom, and when Newt will be expelled years later because he took the blame for Leta when one of her experiments with Javery went wrong putting in danger another student’s life, he will oppose strongly, but there’ll nothing he’ll can do. Newt will be expelled.

In 1938 he’ll rescue from Wool’s Orphanage: Tom Riddle. In 1943 when he became Transfiguration teacher, several muggle-born students were petrified, one of whom killed: Myrtle Warren. Even if Dumbledore suspected from the first moment that Riddle was behind the attacks, another young Gryffindor boy was accused: Rubeus Hagrid. In the meanwhile Grindelwald still at large was bulding up an army, to find THE deathly Hallow: the elder wand. Made of Elder and Thestral Hair, 15′ inches, was consider the most potent wand in the world. He later used it to terrorized the European continent. Dumbledore was asked to fight Grindelwald but not only he couldn’t because of the blood path, but he was even scared that he might know the truth about the spell that killed Ariana, and who had cast it. In 1945 this blood path was abolished and he finally managed to fight and defeat Grindelwald, who was imprisoned for life in Numengard prison. This put an end at the Global-Wizarding War, and guaranteed Dumbledore as award the Order Of Merlin (First Class).

Back to Hogwarts as teacher, he was made Headmaster between 1965 and 1971, succeding Armando Dippet. As one of his first tasks he was approached by Tom Riddle, known only as Lord Voldemort, who asked Dumbledore to be admitted at Hogwarts as teacher of Defence Against the Dark Arts. Even though Dumbledore was not aware of the actions of Tom after the graduation, he still denied his application. This was what brought Tom to hate the charge of Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher, cursing it, and preventing anyone to keep that place for more than one year. If he couldn’t have that position, nobody could. 

Even as headmaster Dumbledore showed his greatness, he immediately accepted any kind of student with distinctions: mud-blood, pure-blood, and werewolf as Remus Lupin. The latter was in fact afraid of not can be admitted in Hogwarts because of his nature, he was previously infected by Fenrir Greyback ,another werewolf death eater, when he was only a child, he find instead a home at Hogwarts. He allowed Remus to use the Shrieking Shack as safe place for his monthly transformations. 

He founded later the Order of Phoenix to fight Lord Voldemort in the First Wizarding War. He’ll be witness of the prediction of Sybill Trelawney, in fact he was testing her as teacher of Divination when she went in trans revealing the prophecy about Harry Potter:

“The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches… born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies… and the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not… and either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives… the one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies….“

Severus Snape who in that moment was present heard part of the profecy and ws ejected from the tavern by Aberforth, this was the reason why Dumbledore decided to assume her, to protect her from the Death Eaters. Snape told immediately the prophecy he had heard to Lord Voldermort, who will understand the boy the prophecy is talking about is Harry Potter, the son of Lily and James Potter. Snape will subsequently regret his choice, because he’s in love with Harry’s mother, and he’ll become a spy for Dumbledore in exchange of his protection, he’ll also ask him to protect Lily Potter. He will suggest the Potter to use the Fidelius Charm, but they’ll replace their trust in the wrong person Peter Pettigrew who will betray them. 

At the death of the Potter’s, Dumbledore discovered that James was possessing the Cloak of Invisibility, already possessing the other two Deathly Hallows this made him a Master of Death. He will take care of bringing Harry to the Dursley, even if they were the worst muggle race in the world, Voldemort could do no harm to Harry as long as he staied with blood-relativies, because of the the spell he placed. That night Voldemort lost his powers, nd the First-Wizarding War endend, but many members of the Order of Phoenix remained killed or worse, as Alice and Frank Longbottom, Neville’s parents. They were driven crazy by Cruciatus Curse they’ve been inflicted by Belatrix Lestrange and Barty Crouch Jr. 

In the years after when Harry will join Hogwarts, Dumbledore get closer and closer to the boy, and protect him everyway he can. He cannot find the strenght in fact, to tell him about the prophecy. There will be many times in which Dumbledore gets close to Harry, they becomes more than friend, and Dumbledore becomes a sort of father for Harry. Even if he loves him, he’s still a reserved man, and many times he lies to Harry, he tells him in the Mirror of Erised sees himself holding socks but instead he sees himself with his family. In the year the plan of Voldemort becomes clearer, the next year he introduces Harry to Fawkes, his phoenix, which will help Harry in the destruction of Tom Riddle’s diary, here Dumbledore start to understand the Horcruxes, which become his aim. He will always be on Harry’s side, in the third year, Harry understand that Sirius Black is innocent and so is Buckbeack, and Dumbledore tells him and Hermione how to reach them and save them with a Timeturner. When during the Triward-Tournament Harry’s name appear in the Goblet Of Fire, Dumbledore will be very concerned about Harry but still he’ll let him take part, to understand the events. Here once again we see the dark side of Dumbledore, a man who was only intersted in his aims, offering Harry as bait. The cup turn out to be a port key which’ll lead Harry to Voldemort, who will use him to resuscitate, with the help of Peter Pettingrew. When Harry starts telling anyone Voldemort is back only a few will support him, and Dumbledore will be accused by the Ministry of conspiracy.

This will alarm Dumbledore, aware of the connection between Harry and Voldemort, he will try to detach himself from Harry, believing that this will lead Voldemort not to be tempt to read and upset Harry’s mind. That summer Harry and his cousin are attacked  by two dementors, Harry cast Patronus Charm to defeat himself, but still being underage he’ll be expelled. Dumbledore managed to suspend the case, and goes to Wiengamot to defend Harry at his trial, the ministry re-admitted Harry at school but convinced that Albus wants his place, he placed Dolores Umbridge, undesecretary as high-inquisitor of Hogwarts and Defence Against the Dark Arts Teacher. She’ll prevent her students to learn any defense charm, because the Ministry thinks Dumbledore made up Voldemort return only to steal his charge. This will bring the student to form an illegal organization: Dumbledore’s Army; where they could exercise and learn defensive charms. This organization is caught by Umbridge, and her and the Ministry think it’s just the final proof Dumbledore wants his job, so they try to arrest him, but he manged to flee through Fawkes. Umbridge is made headmaster, in the meantime Dumbledore turned out to be wrong, Voldemort make Harry sees his Godfather being tortured in the Department of Misteries, he and some members of Dumbledore’s Army promptly leave to save him. But unfortunately, it turned out to be only a trap, in order to catch the prophecy Sybill had made years before. The duell between Dumbledore’s Army and the Death Eaters ends tragically, Harry looses his Godfather. The Minister is able to see Voldemort, and cannot dent further his return. Dumbledore come back at Hogwarts as Headmaster, and can no long precluding Harry from knowing the truth so he tells him everything about the prophecy. 

The following year Dumbledore finally leaves the idea of staying away from Harry, and involving him in his search for horcruxes. He find out he already got two: Tom Riddle’s Diary, and Tom Riddle’s Mom Ring from which he’ll get the curse at his hand. He shows him the memory of Horace Slughorn, telling Voldemort about Horcrux and persuade him to ask Professor Slughorn the true memory. Understood what they’re facing, they leave for a cave in which should be one, the Gaunt’s Locket. They find it at a bottom of an enchanted basin, fill with water which must be drunk. Dumbledore offers himself to drink it, and become extremly weak, he still managed after to defeat the Inferis, dead bodies that have been bewitched from the Dark Lord. They later re-apparate in the astronomy tower, where Dumbledore tells Harry to go to wake up Smape, but as soon as Harry leave Dumbledore finds himself facing Draco Malfoy, who have been charged by the Dark Lord to kill Dumbledore. Draco won’t be able to do it, and Snape will kill Dumbledore instead. 

After his death Dumbledore had a huge funeral, with all the kind of people and creatures, even merepeople came to great an immense wizard. He was burried in a white marm tomb, with his Elder wand. Fawkes after his death, will leave Hogwarts forever. Is portrait was being placed in the headmaster’s studio as all the predecessors. He will be substituted by Snape.

Scrimgour will reach the Burrow that summer to read Dumbledore’s will: he left to Hermione his copy of Tales of Beadle the Bard, to Ron his deluminator, and to Harry the snitch he first catch in a quidditch game, inside of which he had hidden the Resurrection Stone and the Sword of Gryffindor. 

He later will appear in Harry’s mind to help him to come back after Voldemort cast him the Avada Kedavra curse.
