The confirmation arrived in the afternoon, but the new was already flying between fans yesterday morning: HBO Max the streaming platform announced that a TV series is being built. Is not being recorded already, yet the producers are thinking about it.
It’s still not clear what the plot will be about, be the aim is supposed to be a back up story to “Fantastic Beasts”, so it might be something that gives strength to the FB plot; there are several rumours flying around including: Marauders’s story, Dumbledore’s story, or Newt’s Scamander story at Hogwarts.
Personally I think it could be about Dumbledore’s story, since the shock of Aurelius Dumbledore has left the fans a little agape, but also the Marauders’s story is something we’ve been asking for quite too long.
One case or another we for sure can’t wait to hear more news, and at this day it’s not clear if J. K. Rowling will or is involved in the project. For now we can only dream about what this TV Serie will be about, and while we wait for some news we decided to create a cast of actors for both the “probable” plots, or better how we would imagine the casts.
Marauders
If the story was about the Marauders: James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, Peter Pettigrew and Severus Snape it would be awesome to use the old cast, the one that played the roles in Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix:
but obviously they would be too “old” now to play these roles, so a few more ideas crossed my mind.
The first idea was that they could use the old cast that played the roles in Harry Potter and the Deathly Allows, since now the would be just the perfect ages:
IF both cases should go wrong this is a cast I could imagine as Marauders:
Annalise Basso as Lily Evans, Cody Christian as James Potter, Timothée Chalamet as Sirius Black, Eric Osborne as Remus Lupin, Devin Druid as Peter Pettigrew, Adam Driver as Severus Snape
Dumbledore This could possibly be one of the most probable plots since the “Aurelius Dumbledore” story really shocked fans.
Obviously Jude Law would be AMAZING as Dumbledore, but he would be way too old to play it, so this could be a cast I could imagine:
Millie Bobbie Brown as Ariana Dumbledore
Henry Cavill as Albus Dumbledore
Sam Claflin as Aberforth Dumbledore
Is it just me or they would be perfect?!?!
Newt Scamander Another big important point of the plot of Fantastic Beasts that could be developed, the story of Newt Scamander at Hogwarts, why was he expelled and his “love story” with Leta Lestrange, obviously this could be the perfect excuse to use the original cast:
Joshua Shea as Newt Scamander, Thea Lamb as Leta Lestrange, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, Fiona Glascott as Minerva McGonagall
Whatever the plot will be about one thing is sure, it has been 24 years since the first book has been released and 20 years since for the first time the film was available on the big screens.
I sincerely think it’s UNBELIEVABLE that Harry Potter still plays such an important role in people’s life. People still talk about it.
