After some, so said “transfobic” tweets of J. K. Rowling the Web World exploded on the notorious Harry Potter’s writer. Being myself a follower, and a fan of J.K. I immediately started following what was happening around her, and it took me so long to write an article about it because unlike some people, I collected my information and made up an idea about them.
Know that I’m not from the community LBGQT, I completely supports them, and I know people very close to me who are part of it, so if you are a part of it, know that this is a “safe post”, but if you’re not will to listen and read through ALL the post, I suggest you to leave now.
Let me start by saying that I believe call someone as J. K. Rowling a TRANSFOBIC, is hideous. That’s a very powerful word, and I do not think it should be used that much, I can lightly compare it to calling someone a “murderer”. The first Tweet that caused all this was about J. K. Rowling supporting a woman who was fired because she sustained to a Trans colleague that “sex is real”.

Since there isn’t so much about this I won’t go too far, but this woman as you can read here: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-50858919 was fired because she stated that you cannot change your biological sex; Now I don’t know what this woman was trying to say, but fact is what Rowling replied to it, starting her thought of “sex is real“.
Later on this June the bomb finally imploded where J. K. expressed her complete thought on the question stating that:

Since I wish this article will reach Italy which is where I am from I am gonna translate everything she said:
Let’s start from the phrase “feeling kinship”, what would be the reason to say this if she actually believe trans women are no females? What she was actually trying to say here was just distinguish the trans women, from biologically ones, which is not hate! Because the “label” trans, stands for TRANSGENDER, TRANSFORMATION… so I don’t think it’s hateful to just… divide for a minute the two things. Second point: it’s time guys we learn to distinguish the “psychological” sex, from the biological one.
It’s absolutely TRUE. You can, and MUST be whoever you feel you are; But there will always be a difference between male and female, otherwise what would be the so called CHANGE OF SEX? Why, if sex isn’t real if you feel like you were born in the wrong body you want to change your sex, if it wasn’t real why just not feel it?
Biologically speaking I’m woman, if tomorrow I’d woke up feeling a man, I could tell anyone I’m man, dress like a man but I would still be able to give birth if I wanted to, I would still have my period, I would still be able to breastfeed. That’s because BIOLOGICALLY SPEAKING I’M A WOMAN. This is called, gender, sex. And this thought it’s applicable to every person on earth! Not only the LBGTQ community, just think for example to those animals which for some reasons feels like they’re something else.
There’ve been cases where cats brought up with dogs and the other way around, believed to be dogs what can you say? Let them bark! But you’ll always feed them with cat’s food, and if they’ll want to give birth, they’ll be cats, not dogs.
If you reached this point I hope that the message that passed was not “this girl hates trans people, she doesn’t want us to be what we are”, NO. YOU CAN BE WHOEVER YOU PLEASE, if you are a man and feels like dressing up like a girl, I’m super happy for you, this by the way does not conceal the fact that biologically, fenotipically, exteriorly speaking you seem like a boy. I hope this is clear.
More if sex isn’t real and it’s just a concept why women on work generally gain 23% less than a man, shouldn’t it be equal? If sex isn’t real why can women be pregnant, and man don’t? If sex isn’t real why can man get someone pregnant, and women don’t? I hope this is clear.
(P.s. I’m a graduated Biologist if you have any question, please leave a comment I’ll be more than delight to go deeper in the argument, even genetically speaking if you want.)
Okay leaving behind the first argument let’s move to the next one:

#2: Molti, me inclusa, credono che stiamo guardando un nuovo tipo di conversione per le persone gay che le vede mettere su un percorso di medicine a vita che potrebbero risultare nella perdità di fertilità e della completa funzionalità sessuale.
This Tweet again caused a lot of hate directed to her, and the funny thing is that this is a list of like 11 Tweets, and literally nobody went through but just stopped and commented things like “Shut up” “You’re not a psychologist”, exc.
Beginning with the fact that true, she is not a psychologist but she Re-Tweeted a post from TRUE psychologists, that are concerned about the transition therapy. Maybe many of you don’t actually know what the therapy leads, but are all hormones that does not only affect you’re sexual characterises primary and secondary but also all the other organs in your body, beginning with the heart, liver, kidney exc. It’s no joke, it’s a very heavy therapy, and if given when not necessary, especially at a young age you may cause serious damage, that WILL bump up once you’re a grown up. (Here again, if you have any question please let me, I repeat being a Biologist give me some skills in this field).

This does not mean she’s against the therapy, she doesn’t want you to do the transition or what, she just concerned about the real short while which this takes.
When you go to the doctor and say “I’m sad”, the answer is not “You’re depressed, here take some Xanax bars.”, some of those are depressed some aren’t. Was she was trying to point out is that is maybe for the best interest of whom is about to face such an important decision, which should be for life, and could also bring along some risk factors, to consult a psychologist and just be sure that it’s actually what he/she is feeling and what he needs. Nobody is saying that you don’t have do transit if it’s ACTUALLY WHAT YOU NEED. Just this, I firmly believe in this.

I believe this is a brave very difficult choice; It’s not wrong to consult a specialist who put you in the position to make a conscientious choice.
Finally last but absolutely not least, maybe the most talked about one: the Essay.
I linked you the essay because if you still haven’t read it I kindly invite to do that in person, do not stop at what you hear, read on the internet because it has been forgiate (and later I’ll show you). So I have read the entire essay, and I’m about to make a summary about it of the parts I think are the most important, but please I repeat feel free to read it on her official site.
First of all: all this affair around trans people, it’s because J. K. Rowling is writing a book where one of the main characters is struggling with these issues, so she is DOCUMENTING herself about trans community. On Twitter way before of Maya’s affair, J.K. started screenshotting some tweets of her interest for her book, some of them homophobic, transphobic, I repeat: FOR HER BOOK, FOR THE CHARACTERS. And one day instead of screenshot she put a like on a homophobic/transphobic one, by mistake. That was the beginning of the end.

Second: during her researchers she spoke with many people of the LGBTQ community, and also with many doctors and clinicians and found out very impressive numbers about the kids that transit from one sex to another:

Finding out that UK experience a 4400% increase in girl chosing to do transitional treatment and that the most of them were autistic. More, an American Physician in 2018 stated that parents on-line are starting to describe a very curios pattern, since multiple friends even an entire group of friends (PEOPLE WHO KNOW EACH OTHER) decided to do gender transition. This brought J.K. Rowling to deep her search, finding even more fearful numbers:

“About the 60-90% of kids grow out of dysphoria”, and that a trans sexual woman she know went trough years of evaluation, psychotherapy and staged transformation once older, though at first she seemed so convinced about her transformation. And now the most acclaimed sentence the “bathroom” one:

Many of you still think she said that “Trans-men are men dressed up like women who wants to rape girls in the bathroom”. No.
She said that now you can obtain a Certificate that confirms your sex, even without having a surgery, this means that if you are a man and go to ask this Gender Recognition Certificate you can say “I feel like a woman”, and you’ll be adress as a woman, because no sex, only gender right?
She’s concerned, and I’m sorry because I agree, that who can know who really feels like a woman, and who instead just pretend to then maybe take advantage of the situation? (Not only man in my opinion but also the other way around). So in this part of the assay she is expressing her concern about biological women, and trans women who wants to just leave their life in peace but that if you don’t recognise some obvious things, you put others at risk. A man, biologically he’s a man he’s got a penis, and who knows what’s happening inside his head? Does he feel a woman? Maybe he does maybe not.. If in that bathroom there was your daughter, alone, would you take this chance? FOR A BATHROOM?

I leave you with this sentence, who haven’t experienced it can’t know what it feels like;
Now if you reached this part thanks for the attention, now you know all the reasons why I stand with J. K. Rowling and why I still think she’s a gorgeous brave woman. Nobody has the guts to talk about this things, she had, because if something is true it’s must be spoken out. Last words I want to say is I know the phrase “Bullshit! It’d never happened something like that!! That’s just an excuse.” If you never experienced it, you don’t know.
