This week I was a little absent from the blog, because I bought the Hogwarts Castle to built by Wrebbit 3D. The castle is divided into two parts:
The first part is basically the Great Hall, and it’s 850 pieces, while the second is the Two Towers and the Astronomy Tower, and it’s 875 pieces. It took me nearly 48h to built the whole, there are no instructions to built it except for some guide lines for the Dormitory tower, and some other parts. Here I place some photos and tips to help you build it, I started from the 850’s one.
The first thing you have to do is separate pieces, into: borders and garden, towers, and castle. Then you can start assemble the border, this is the shape you should obtain in the end. The next move is personal, you can choose from where to start, I started from the great hall building the front wall, the one with the door, and then the Great Hall itself behind it. Then I put on the square passageway in the garden, and put on it the wooden pieces. I then built the two “connectors” one of which is a bridge. Then you can start building the two towers, above the little one you have to place that wooden “circle” closed.

You can then start to build the towers, and the roofs.

To built the second part of the castle I recommend to do the same thing, start from the borders, and build the boundaries.
Then you can start building the two towers, and the front door, then the two walls along the sides. Then you can build the big wall, with the door, in the back. You can now start building the other walls which bounder. You can then pass to the towers, first the astronomy, which has three walls.
Then you can build the roofs, and the middle part.

This is what should look like in the end, the final effect is really amazing, a little bit complex to built, but trust me it worths the fight! I leave you here the links where you can buy the both of them:
